While working at Universal Creative I developed several blue sky, concept and schematic design packages for the following attractions and locations.

Project Date: 2015-2020
THEA Awards 2022 - Press Release
-Best Ride Technology – Augmented Reality, Mario Kart
-Best New Land- Super Nintendo World, USJ
DONKEY KONG | Blue Sky and Concept Phases. In the early development with Nintendo, I was a show set designer tasked with researching Donkey Kong and implementing the brand into physical space. This included space planning and scene development.  Donkey Kong Press Release
MARIO KART – Koopas Challenge | Blue Sky, Concept and Schematic Design Phases. This was my primary project with Nintendo and opened in Japan and Hollywood with the third location announced for Orlando, FL. During this project, I went from blue sky to full schematic package. I worked closely with the Facility Design team to ensure that the overall design integrated with lighting, sound, security, and overall customer and employee experience. Along with an E-ticket design I helped develop Mario Motors Retail store located in the Mario Kart Building. Throughout the five years at Universal Creative I completed countless concept and schematic packages and worked alongside a talented team.
SUPER NINENDO LAND | Schematic Design Phase. While I mostly focused on the E-ticket attraction, I coordinated with the land development team with design documentation and the transition of facility and themed spaces (Bowser’s Castle and Mario Motors).

Universal Studios Japan was the first location for Super Nintendo World. Due to this being the first iteration of this land, I spent the most time on this park. My primary role for this park was as a Show Set Designer.
This was the second iteration of Super Nintendo World. For this project I was the Lead Show Set Designer. My role for this park was to incorporate the designs from USJ to USH with new site restrictions and challenges.
*attractions above are not guaranteed for every Universal Theme Park location.
