Every year Bayside’s staff holds a Christmas Volunteer Party and the creative department always go above and beyond with making the volunteers feel appreciated and loved.

In November a group of creative staff went around for about 3 weeks gathering face shots of all of our awesome volunteers. I have to say it was a little awkward taking pictures of random volunteers and not being able to tell them what it was for, however most cooperated. While taking the photos we encouraged the volunteers to be very expressive and hi·lar·i·ous. After we collected all the pictures I turned them into B/W images using Adobe Photoshop. Then we printed the images on card stock and cut off the boarders. A group of 9 plus staff members taped the letter size images together to complete the final backdrop. The volunteers were surprised to see their faces front and center on the stage and had fun finding their headshoots. At the end of that evening we pulled a string that triggered a 1200 balloon balloon drop that took several hours to create and seconds to reveal...
