Bayside Community Church requested a Christmas foyer design that would positively
impact guest while conserving the limited floor space. The bow was constructed out of aluminum flashing and attached to a wood grid that suspend from the ceiling with automatic lifts. One of my goals was to disguise and hide the structured grid and supports in the finished design. The bow was lit from the top that reflected light down through the aluminum. Lighting was controlled by Jands Vista Software over DMX dimmers. The computer controlled system allowed the hidden lights to create a dimming chase that brought attention and provided an unexpected living character as guest entered.
